Midnight Bulk, a new Netflix serial publication from The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor house creator Mike Flanagan, has its first tormenter. The seven-installment series was first revealed in 2019 and intent production in Dec 2020, but this is the number one bit of footage we've seen.
"We're 30 miles from the mainland with only two ferries a day," reads the teaser's incomprehensible subtitle. We've but got about six precious seconds of footage from the new teaser, but we can see a small ferry making its hour-long trek through light rainwater to David Crockett Island. What's Crockett Island? No clue, but apparently it's 30 miles away. Why is the music so ominous? We'll just throw to wait and see.
Flanagan official in a follow-up pinch that Midnight Mass International Relations and Security Network't a new chapter in The Haunting series, so don't expect another taken up house story. Reported to Netflix, Midnight Mass is about "a community [experiencing] marvellous events and frightening omens aft a mysterious priest's arrival."
In another tweet, Flanagan suggests he'll once again be working with Carla Gugino, World Health Organization starred as Olivia Crain in The Haunting of Hill House and older Jaime in The Unforgettable of Bly Manor, but it's unclear if he's referring to Midnight Mass surgery something other.
Tongued of which, Midnight Mass isn't the only jut on Flanagan's plate at the consequence. We recently lettered of the Hill House Almighty's plans to adapt the horror comedian There's Something Humourous the Children, which was written by James Tynion IV and illustrated by Werther Dell'Edera. Then there's The Midnight Ball club, a horror anthology series settled on the novels aside Christopher Pike following a group of terminally ill teenagers.
